FEBS YSF Bridge Event

Tuesday, 6th July 2021
Start: 19:00 (till 20:00)
Gallery Hall, Congress venue

This activity aims to gather young scientists who want to learn more about initiatives from FEBS for early-career researchers, particularly the FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF), and also provides an opportunity to make new acquaintances with peers at the Congress in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

We warmly invite all PhD students and postdocs of the FEBS Congress to participate in this event – together we will build a bridge between FEBS YSFs in the past and in the future! We will talk about recent FEBS YSF events and present opportunities to participate in next year's 21st FEBS YSF in Lisbon.

After the talks we encourage you to join in some interactive games and chat over beers and snacks. We want this gathering to become a platform to meet other scientists at an early stage in their careers and establish contacts between young people participating in FEBS Congresses. We will also be holding a draw for a free registration for the IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Congress in Lisbon in 2022.

The FEBS YSF Bridge Event is organized by the FEBS Working Group on the Careers of Young Scientists.

FEBS has twin commitments to high-quality publications and the promotion of molecular biosciences. As a charitable academic organization,
FEBS uses income from the journals to fund its diverse activities, including support for the FEBS Congress.
