YSF Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to participate in the 20th FEBS Young Scientists' Forum ('YSF20') to be held from 30th June to 3rd July 2021 in Lovran, Opatija Riviera, Croatia. The event will take place at the Remisens Hotel Excelsior (4*) situated right on the Adriatic Sea and surrounded by a tree-filled park. It is organized just ahead of and in conjunction with the 45th FEBS Congress in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The 20th FEBS YSF was planned originally to take place in July 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has been postponed to 2021 along with the 45th FEBS Congress. The postponed YSF will retain most of the scientific programme prepared in 2020.

The 20th FEBS YSF will bring together about 100 PhD students and postdocs from across the FEBS area, with those selected to participate supported by FEBS YSF grants. Participants will present and discuss their research from biochemistry and related fields, benefit from career skills development, and also go on to experience the ensuing 45th FEBS Congress in Ljubljana from 3rd to 8th July 2021.

The scientific programme and the social events at the YSF in 2021 will provide you with an excellent opportunity for a rewarding scientific and personal experience, including exchanging ideas with colleagues and establishing new acquaintances.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Lovran!
